Proper Brew Day – Courtesy of Yorkshire Tea and Heart Radio
Yorkshire Tea recently partnered with Heart Radio to help office workers tackle the winter blues by offering one lucky office the chance to win a supply of Yorkshire Tea, delivered with a difference.
Staff at Collins Education in Honley were the lucky winners of the competition held during Heart Radio’s Drivetime programme. Heart asked employees to nominate their office to win a ‘Proper Brew Day’ and were overwhelmed with entries from across Yorkshire, but it was Keeley Bryford who secretly nominated her office and won the ‘Proper Brew Day’.
Collins Education was presented with its prize by Heart presenter Rich Williams, accompanied by the famous Yorkshire Tea brass band.
Keeley Byford, from Collins Education, said: “The office can’t stop talking about it. They got such a shock when the band burst in playing Uptown Funk. And the best bit… I’m off tea-making duties for the rest of the month!”
Laura Burton, Brand Manager at Yorkshire Tea, added: “At Yorkshire Tea, we do things properly, so when Heart got in touch asking us to help banish the January blues from one Yorkshire office we knew we had to get involved – because what better way is there than with a proper brew?
“We loved meeting the team at Collins Education, and hope that the band and the brews have left them far from blue.”
Laura Hartley, Trade Marketing Executive, said: “We know offices nationwide love Yorkshire Tea and we’re glad to be able to spread some cheer during the winter months.”
Yorkshire Tea goes to great lengths to make a proper brew – tasting 1000s of teas a day, building strong relationships with the world’s top tea estates and doing business in a way that respects people and planet. Yorkshire Tea is from 100% Rainforest Alliance Certified sources.
Only last month Yorkshire Tea was listed in the top ten YouGov Brand Index, ranking at number seven on the list for the second year running. For over 40 years, it has provided the nation with a ‘proper brew’ as it offers great taste, warming comfort, and the perfect recourse to take a break during the working day.
